The Model Driven Software Network

Raise your level of abstraction

After a great holiday period, I'm picking up again - amongst others on the MDSD tools popularity index. What I was wondering about just now, also after seeing Peter Adriaenssens experiences in developing a web browser: are there any tools that allow us to create models inside a web browser and generate code from there?

So far, most tools I've seen are in some way desktop IDE based, except for the effort presented in tow Belgian egineers at CodeGeneration 2009 (I have to look up their names in my conference notes).

Please post suggestions and links here.

Hi,

I am not sure, but it is at least in the information system design domain I think: http://www.openbluelab.org/cms/global-overview.html

And only for Alfresco.

Thanks, Lothar, that's at least one.

Anybody else????
Regarding the index in general, you could add a link to each tool on your list. This way anybody considering the use of a MDSD tool could check all the tool's sites they wish to help them make a decision.
Thanks for that one. It's a different topic than what I'm looking for here, but thanks nevertheless. I should consider a holiday to Portugal some time, it's been 10 years since I was there - would be a great chance to meet in real life.
You're welcome to Portugal anytime!

Regarding your specific question, I've searched for a while and found nothing.

Not feasible, or a niche to be filled?
Well, I'm not allowed to talk about the details, but a niche to be filled sounds plausible. ;-)
